Description

The Akiba2 Web Site was built for an offline Akihabara magazine of the same name. The magazine features articles about the area and details of local shops and special offers and coupons in Japanese.

The client wanted to move their magazine on to the Web and streamline their publishing system. The main features that were implemented into this system are:

• email to post - people can send in articles with image attachments by email (mainly using cell phones) and these can be published online directly or edited through the admin interface.
• Coupon System - Certain shops can be given admin access to the coupon system and add their own special offer coupons online.
• Mobile Site - Cell phone interface.

The project was designed and developed by myself over several weeks using Python, Django, HTML, CSS and jQuery.
